A get well card won't fix anything, and we all know it. But being sick or stuck in a hospital bed is lonely, and a handmade card on the nightstand says 'someone is thinking of you' in a way a text message just doesn't. Especially when it's coloured in by a kid.
This card is designed to be coloured — bold outlines, cheerful flowers, and a big 'Get Well Soon!' across the front. Print it, let the kids go wild with crayons, write your message inside, and fold it in half. It fits a standard envelope, or just hand-deliver it with a hug.
It works for classmates home sick, grandparents after surgery, teachers out for a week, neighbours recovering — anyone who could use a little sunshine. Print a couple extra; once kids start making them, requests roll in.
Print, then fold in half horizontally — the 'Get Well Soon!' design is the front, the message lines go inside.
Cardstock if you have it; plain printer paper works fine too. Colouring looks best on slightly heavier paper.
Folded, it's roughly 5 x 7 inches — fits a standard A7 envelope.
That's the whole idea. Bold outlines, big spaces, zero fiddly details.
